The Review Insights - Keyword Analysis page helps identify the most frequently mentioned words and phrases in customer feedback, broken down by sentiment as positive, negative, or neutral. By analyzing these keywords, businesses can quickly spot recurring themes, recognize areas of concern, and highlight what resonates most with customers. This analysis provides clear insights into customer priorities, enabling more targeted improvements and informed decision-making.

 

The Keyword Analysis page provides a detailed view of commonly mentioned keywords based on the date range you select at the top of the page. The metrics include:

 

  • Sentiment Score – Average sentiment rating for on-premises vs. off-premises mentions of a keyword.

  • % Change - Difference in sentiment compared to the previous period.

  • Mentions - Number of times the keyword appears in reviews by premise type.

  • Positive - Total number of reviews where the keyword is associated with favorable sentiment.

  • Negative - Total number of reviews where the keyword is tied to unfavorable sentiment.

  • Neutral - Total number of reviews where the keyword is mentioned without strong positive or negative sentiment.

 

These metrics help you understand what topics drive customer feedback, identify recurring issues, and highlight the aspects of your business customers value most.

 

Navigating to the Keyword Analysis Page

 

To navigate to the The Review Insights - Keyword Analysis page, click on the Review Insights tab in your dashboard, and then click on the Keyword Analysis tab.

 

 

The Keyword Analysis page is divided into three sections:

  • Keyword Cloud - A visual display of keyword frequency, with larger words representing more mentions.

  • Trending Keywords - The most frequently mentioned terms by sentiment, with insights into shifts over time.

  • Keyword Search - Filter for keywords with a text search

 

The top of this section provides you with filtering options for this page. These filters include:

  • Date Picker - Select a custom date range.

  • Date Preset - Quickly apply filters like Last 30 Days, Last 2 Weeks, Last 6 Months.

  • Folders/Locations - Filter for specific location(s) or folder(s).

  • Publishers - Filter the data for specific publishers.

  • Labels - Filter results by labels applied to reviews.

 

The Keyword Cloud visually represents the most frequently mentioned words in your reviews, with the size of each word reflecting its frequency or importance. Contrasting colors highlight sentiment differences, making it easy to spot the most significant terms at a glance. This snapshot provides an instant overview of customer feedback trends, helping you quickly identify which topics customers discuss most and where to focus attention for improvements or recognition.

 

Hovering over a keyword provides a tooltip showing the number of mentions it has within the currently selected period.

 

The Trending Keywords Table provides a detailed breakdown of keyword performance across your reviews. Each keyword is scored and ranked based on sentiment, with supporting data to show how often it’s mentioned, how sentiment is shifting, and how it varies by context. This makes it easy to track customer priorities, identify recurring themes, and understand where sentiment is improving or declining.

 

Each keyword also includes an expandable view, allowing you to see more detailed sentiment performance and metrics at the individual keyword level.
