New Hire Checklist - Account Manager

Here is a list of all the software you'll be using in your role! You should have registration/welcome emails in your inbox for each of the following, unless otherwise noted:

  • Gmail - An invite will be sent to your personal email account for you to set up your Marqii Gmail account. Your email address will be in the following format: FirstInitialLastName@marqii.com (ie: mgoodwine@marqii.com). Create your password, set up your inbox and adjust your settings as you prefer.
  • GCal - You'll set up your work calendar at the same time as your email account. Make sure you have your working hours and preferences set.
    • Make sure you accept the recurring meeting invites for our team meetings/trainings, weekly companywide all-hands and your weekly 1:1 with your manager. 
    • Gemini Notetaker - This is a meeting notetaker that will be extremely helpful in your Google Meet client meetings. Make sure to have this set to auto-record notes for all meetings. 
  • Slack - We use slack for team communication, important announcements, direct messages, sales notifications, etc. Here's a list of channels to join (bold = requireditalicized = optional):

  • Roam - Our virtual office. this is where we have all internal meetings including our daily standup and the weekly company-wide 'All Hands'.
  • Justworks - Our HR platform. This is where you'll set up and manage and find all information regarding your payroll, direct deposit, employee information, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, tax forms, life-insurance, PTO, company holidays, etc.
  • Brex - Where you submit expenses for reimbursement. Please send an email to Avi (avi@marqii.com) and ask him to set up a new Brex account for you.
  • Front - Our ticketing system. All emails to/from support@marqii.com and onboarding@marqii.com are replied to in here. The Support team fully works out of Front and the Account Managers will collaborate on tickets within Front.
  • Planhat - Our Customer success platform. We use this to log notes and conversations on accounts, to track the health of customers, and to onboard customers. 
  • Baremetrics - Used to help with failing payment recovery. Each customer within Baremetrics has a secure link they can use to update their credit card.
  • Stripe - Our payment processing toolAll customer subscriptions and payments live in here. 
  • Forumbee - This is our internal/external knowledge base. We use this as a reference for all things related to Marqii. Make sure you're following everything under the Support section.
  • Salesforce - Our CRM (customer relationship manager). This is where we track all sales/customer related data. You can see accounts, opportunities, contacts, notes and reports in here.
  • Yext Dashboard - Our re-seller dashboard through Yext. Almost all customers still have at least some services (long tail publishers) through here.
  • Marqii Dashboard - Our product! Your manager will have the product team set up a log in for you.
  • Marqii BO (Back Office) - Access to Marqii's Back Office. This is the back end of our product. You will use this to create/cancel accounts, add users, add/remove services to accounts as well as to navigate between different customer accounts. This is not customer/partner facing.
  • One Password - Our password manager. You will have a personal vault and access to shared vaults that contain shared passwords. Make sure you have the app for mac downloaded.

 

Make sure you've added your photo, name and pronoun preferences when you create your profiles for all of the above.
