New Hire Checklist - Support Rep
Here is a list of all the software you'll be using in your role! You should have registration/welcome emails in your inbox for each of the following, unless otherwise noted:
- Gmail - An invite will be sent to your personal email account for you to set up your Marqii Gmail account. Your email address will be in the following format: FirstInitialLastName@marqii.com (ie: mgoodwine@marqii.com). Create your password, set up your inbox and adjust your settings as you prefer.
- Here is an email signature template for you to copy.
- GCal - You'll set up your work calendar at the same time as your email account. Make sure you have your working hours and preferences set.
- Make sure you accept the recurring meeting invites for our team meetings/trainings, weekly companywide all-hands and your weekly 1:1 with your manager.
- Slack - We use slack for team communication, important announcements, direct messages, sales notifications, etc. Here's a list of channels to join (bold = required, italicized = optional):

- Roam - Our virtual office. this is where we have all internal meetings including our daily standup and the weekly company-wide 'All Hands'.
- Justworks - Our HR platform. This is where you'll set up and manage and find all information regarding your payroll, direct deposit, employee information, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, tax forms, life-insurance, PTO, company holidays, etc.
- Brex - Where you submit expenses for reimbursement. Please send an email to Avi (avi@marqii.com) and ask him to set up a new Brex account for you.
- Forumbee - This is our internal/external knowledge base. We use this as a reference for all things related to Marqii. Make sure you're following everything under the Sales section.
- Salesforce - Our CRM. This is where we track all sales related data. You can track your leads, contacts and accounts as well as your progress in terms of activity, meetings, opportunities and closed/won revenue.
- Apollo - A multi-purpose platform to help you sell - We use Apollo for data lookups, scheduling meetings, as a sales sequencing tool & dialer and our call intelligence platform. Make sure you fully set up your profile, signature and settings and have connected your gmail, gcal and salesforce accounts. You'll also want to install their widget in google chrome!
- Marqii Dashboard - What you're actually selling. Your manager will have the product team set up a log in for you.
- Marqii BO (Back Office) - Access to Marqii's Back Office. Primarily used by R&D, Support, AM and Ops Team to onboard new clients as well as make any changes to Marqii accounts. This is not customer facing.
- Dock - We use Dock to create, present, and track our proposals with prospects and clients.
Make sure you've added your photo, name and pronoun preferences when you create your profiles for all of the above.
Lastly, you'll want to start following these industry publications so you're aware of relevant events within the hospitality space, and then can use them for prospecting purposes:
