What is the Marqii MCP? The Marqii MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an LLM plugin that lets you manage your Marqii locations, menus, hours, photos, users, and more — all through natural language. Instead of clicking through the Marqii dashboard, you just describe what you want done within your LLM.

What can the Marqii MCP actually do? Quite a lot! The main capabilities are:

• Store edits — update name, address, phone, categories, descriptions, social links, payment options, and more
• Hours — set regular hours, happy hours, holiday closures, and temporary/permanent closures
• Menus — manage menu sections, items, modifiers, prices, and descriptions
• Photos — upload, add by URL, and remove photos from location galleries
• Bulk updates — push the same change to multiple locations or entire folders at once
• Users — invite users, change roles, update scope, and remove access
• Reports — create, edit, and delete scheduled email reports
• Widgets — create and manage embeddable Hours, Menu, and Review Form widgets

Do I need to learn any special commands or syntax? Nope, you talk to it like you'd talk to a teammate. Instead of navigating menus and clicking through the dashboard, you just say what you want:

• "Update the phone number for our downtown Chicago location"
• "Add happy hour hours to all our Miami stores — 4pm to 7pm Monday through Friday"
• "Remove the third photo from the gallery at the Buckhead location"
• "Invite Sarah as a Location Manager for the West Coast folder"

How do I refer to a specific location? Use whatever name feels natural to you, the location's name, neighborhood, city, or store code all work. For example:

• "the downtown Austin location"
• "our Wicker Park store"
• "store #204"
• "the flagship"

If there's any ambiguity (like two stores in the same city), the LLM will ask you to clarify before making any changes.

Can I update multiple locations at once? Yes! Just say something like "update all our stores" or "push this to every location in the SF folder" and the bulk update skill handles it.

What if I want to do something not covered by the standard skills? The plugin includes an API Explorer that covers the full Marqii Public API (300+ endpoints), including reviews, analytics, listings sync, and more. Just describe what you're trying to do in natural language and the LLM will find the right endpoint. 

Will my LLM make changes without checking with me first? For most edits, the LLM will confirm what it's about to do before making the change. Especially for anything that affects multiple locations or overwrites existing data. You stay in control at every step!
