Overview

The integration between Toast and Marqii enables seamless synchronization of restaurant menu and hours data from Toast's POS system to Marqii. This ensures that menu and hours updates made in Toast are automatically reflected across Marqii's network of publishers, improving accuracy and reducing manual updates.

Onboarding Process

You will have an onboarding call with one of our Onboarding Specialists. They will walk you through the steps of syncing your Toast menus and hours to Marqii. The process should take about 24-48 hours, depending on how your Toast account is set up. 

Integrating Toast to Marqii

• Connect the Marqii integration in the Toast portal

  • Login into your Toast account.

  • Click on Integrations in the lefthand navigation bar.

  • Click on Browse & Purchase.

  • Search for the Marqii tile and then add it.

  • Once added, choose the restaurant location(s) you would like to connect to the Marqii dashboard.

• Add Marqii Group ID to each restaurant location

  • Click on Integrations in the lefthand navigation bar.

  • Click on Configure Integrations.

  • Click on Marqii integration under My Integrations.

  • Click on the Settings button for Marqii. 

  • Add the Marqii account ID* to the Group ID field for all restaurant locations on the list.

*To obtain your Marqii account ID, reach out to your Onboarding Specialist or email onboarding@marqii.com. 

Connecting Toast Menus to Marqii 

• Download Restaurant Mapping File 
  • Click on Reports on the left-hand side.
  • Click Settings > Data Exports.
  • At the top of the Data Exports page, there is a  link that says view restaurant # mapping.
  • Click this link and download the file - this is used to map your restaurant locations and menus to Marqii.
• Send Restaurant Mapping File to Onboarding Team
  • Email file to onboarding@marqii.com.
  • If the Restaurant Mapping File is not available on your account, please reach out to your Marqii Onboarding Specialist to assist with obtaining access. 

Connecting Toast Hours to Marqii

• Review Toast Hours Categories
  • Review your current hours categories and determine which ones are used.
• Review Marqii Hours Categories 
  • Review the hours categories in Marqii to compare which categories are most similar to your current categories in Toast. Note: Marqii's categories match those of the various publishers. It is likely the do not match what you have created in Toast. 
  • The Marqii hours categories include:
    • Bar
      Base
      Breakfast
      Brunch
      Delivery
      Dine-In
      Dinner
      Drive-Thru
      Happy Hour
      Kitchen
      Lunch
      Pickup
      Senior Hours
      Takeout
• Share your preferred Toast to Marqii hours categories with Onboarding
  • Once you have reviewed both lists, share which Toast categories you would like mapped to specific Marqii's categories. 
  • This can be shared on your onboarding call or you can email the information to onboarding@marqii.com.
  • From there, our Onboarding Specialist will connect your hours.
